James Chitty is the CEO of Talon Air and a Partner at Apollo Jets. Under James’ leadership, Talon Air has become more customer-focused than ever, with 40+ aircraft ranging from the Hawker 800XP to the Gulfstream 550. He has also seen company culture thrive, all while increasing pilot staff by more than 400% and quickly gaining market share.
Prior to joining Apollo Jets and Talon Air, James founded PlaneClear, a private aviation charter company with a refreshing emphasis on transparency. PlaneClear offered access to what was traditionally kept under wraps by other charter companies: pilot hours, aircraft age, maintenance schedules, and third-party auditor ratings. In 2016, PlaneClear merged with Apollo Jets, a partnership that bonded the two forward-thinking companies looking to stay ahead of the curve.
